• Health is a one semester class designed to promote concern for a life-style of physical, emotional and social wellness. Health knowledge is also the capacity to obtain, interpret and understand basic health education and services.

  • PURPOSE:  The purpose of this health course is to give the student an understanding of physical, mental, emotional, and social wellness.  This course is designed to co-inside with the state health standards and will places emphasis on the following topics: mental health

    and self-esteem, personal hygiene and fitness, tobacco, alcohol and other drug use and abuse, understanding of noninfectious diseases, basic first aid and CPR skills, nutrition and diet, and human sexuality, including AIDS and other STD’s. 


  • This is a comprehensive wellness program for intermediate (3-5) students.
