Biology II, an extension to the Biology I curriculum, is a required course designed to help students develop a conceptual understanding of life and living organisms through scientific investigation. Students will engage in laboratory exercises in order to develop the skills and techniques of scientific practice, while gaining insight into the fundamental principles of biology. Topics of study will include Bioenergetics, Homeostasis and Transport, Cell Growth and Reproduction, Heredity and Evolutionary Biology.
